Sailor Moon R part 2

Finally I was able to get R part 2 this completes the second season of Sailor Moon.

The cover has a nice image of the Sailor Gurdians it is the excat same image used as Viz's release of this set. The back features Jupiter.

The Disks include four disks as usual and I'm blown away by the excellent color choices and awesome character desighs

Visuals

The video is as fantastic as ever, Madman is continuing to use the Italian Masters to help their releases of Sailor Moon be as high quality as DVD releases can be. Very Suburb!  There are few visual artifacts present here and there, but this is to be expected considering the age of this show. Overall, the visuals are almost perfect.

Audio

The only somewhat positive element of the English dub is Sandy Fox, the voice actor for Chibi-Usa. That is great and reminds me of the previous voice english dub actors who voiced her. Stephanie's voice for Usagi’s character and Robbie Daymond who voices Mamoru Chiba/ Tuxedo Mask also does a great job at breathing in new life to a great character. The English voices for Rubeus and the Spectre Sisters are also quite good. The voice acting for the original Japanese version, however, cannot be faulted. The background music and opening and ending songs continue to be of the excellent quality expected of the music composed for this series. Emotions often run high in this series, so it helps that the music always adds to the atmosphere.

Menus:
Once again Madman does a fantastic job with these I love how the opening song plays on it. I could look at these menus for hours just to admire the pretty art.

These menus that Madman is putting out is gorgeous I love it so much.

Overall  I loved this set for classic. I'm so excited and I  cannot wait for Sailor Moon S part 1 hopefully Madman releases it toward the end of the year! After much internal debate I've decided to collect Sailor Moon Crystal from Madman. I'm excited and can't wait to own it. I also can't wait to see how they desigh their set.

Xoxo see you for the next review!
